Adi Slepack is a film professional by day and entrepreneur by night living and working in Brooklyn. She has worked in film from various angles: marketing & distribution, festivals & exhibition, as well as production & art department. Her past production experience includes Madam Secretary (CBS), The Week of (Netflix), and Deception (ABC). She has also worked for GKIDS, The New York International Children’s Film Festival, and Frederator. Adi is currently working towards being a graphic artist for film and television, hoping to contribute her creativity and design to the worlds we see on screen.
Adi began developing Someone Has Died as a hobby between jobs and on weekends, taking on the roles of game designer, art director, graphic designer, and producer. Two years later, the game has had a successful Kickstarter and Adi founded Gather Round Games with Liz Roche to see the game all the way through manufacturing, crowdfunding fulfillment, and retail/distribution. Someone Has Died is now in it’s second printing and Gather Round Games is brainstorming new projects. Adi hopes to design and contribute to more games that promote storytelling and collaborative play experiences.
Adi graduated from Wesleyan University in 2016, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies with honors.
